Azamara Cruises will add a fuel surcharge to all bookings for all upcoming sailings as follows: For bookings made through June 29, 2008, a fuel surcharge of $8 per person, per day, not to exceed $112 per person, per voyage, will be assessed for the first and second passengers in a stateroom. Hurtigruten will implement a fuel surcharge of $6.00 per day per person for all of the voyages. The surcharge is per person in single, double, triple, and quad cabins with a total maximum of $140 per cabin.
Majestic America will add a fuel surcharge of $10 per person, per day to all bookings. The fee is applicable to all passengers on all upcoming cruises.
MSC Cruises will apply a fuel surcharge of $6 per person, per day to all bookings for cruises leaving between February 1, 2008 and November 30, 2008. Bookings made on or after July 1, 2008 for cruises that depart on or after December 1, 2008 will be assessed a fuel surcharge of $8 per person, per day. The surcharge will only apply to the first two passengers in each cabin. For bookings made November 17, 2008 and beyond, MSC will not assess a fuel surcharge for cruises sailing on or after April 1, 2009. For customers who booked an April 1, 2009 or later sailing before November 17, MSC will remove the fuel surcharge from the final balance. If fuel prices continue to remain stable going into 2009 - as reflected by the price of West Texas Intermediate fuel on the New York Mercantile Exchange holding at or below $65 per barrel on December 18, 2008 - MSC Cruises also will refund the fuel surcharge in the form of an onboard credit to guests sailing on MSC ships sailing from January 1 through March 31, 2009.

Silversea is assessing a fuel surcharge of $10 per person, per day, effective immediately, on all new bookings for 2008 voyages. The surcharge is applicable to all guests in a cabin.
Star Clippers will add a fuel surcharge of $8 per person, per day to all
bookings, effective for all published
sailings now through April 2009. The surcharge will be capped at $100
per person, per sailing for all guests from the U.S., Canada and Latin
America.
Uniworld will assess a fuel surcharge of $7 per person, per day for
bookings on all 2008 river cruises in Europe and $10 per person, per day for
bookings on all 2008 river cruises in Russia and Ukraine. The surcharge is
applicable to all guests in a cabin.
Viking River Cruises will assess a fuel surcharge of $7 per person, per day, applicable to all passengers in a cabin, to bookings for all currently published sailings through December 2008. A surcharge of $10 per person, per day, applicable to all passengers in a cabin, will be added for all 2009 sailings.
Voyages of Discovery will no longer apply a fuel surcharge for sailings that begin November 14, 2008 and beyond, effective for new bookings made on or after October 28, 2008. Guests who were charged a fuel surcharge and paid in full as of October 28, 2008 will be offered an onboard credit or an upgrade.
Windstar will add a fuel surcharge of $10 per person, per day to all bookings. The fee is applicable to all passengers on all cruises departing now through spring 2009. A fuel surcharge of $8.50 per person, per day will be assessed for all bookings made prior to May 19, 2008.
Cruise lines not listed here have not yet announced their policy
regarding fuel surcharges, but are expected to follow suit.
